Just in time for 4th of July!!!
What you’ll need:
* American Flag Inspired T-Shirt
* Cloth Marker/Chalk
Mark shirt along the front and back of the collar for more of an “off the shoulder” type look. Make sure to mark the front deeper than the back. Also mark the bottom of the shirt. Crop it shorter if you’d like. I cut right above the stitching.
Cut along marked lines on the neck and the bottom of the shirt. Remember not to cut the front and back of the neck at the same time.
Start about 5-6 inches from the bottom of the shirt, and mark a horizontal line. This is where the fringe will start and your stoping point when you being to cut. Then mark 1 inch vertical strips along the bottom on the shirt. This will be the fringe.
Cut along vertical marked lines until you hit your stoping point. For this I cut through both sides of the shirt at once.
Once strips have been cut, pinch the top and bottom of a single strip and pull. This should stretch the strip and cause the sides to curl in. Repeat!
Put on and go find a bbq.
Today is Tuesday and that can only mean one thing. It’s Tuneday! So forget your morning coffee – ‘awake YOUR body’ with a little Alexander this morning. You know, Alexander Ebert from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. I know you know. You can’t get away from their song “Home”.
Anyways I love this album and I have been listening to it non-stop for the past few days – as one should. It’s a little bit reggae, folk, and pop all mixed into one. Reminds me a little bit of The Beatles, and I swear I hear some Elvis-like melodies in there as well. Weird and awesome all in one!
Meldon Dress – Marciano // Clara Ring – Marciano // Anora Sandal – Marciano
Success! Co-hosting the Marciano Dress Event with Miss Ashley, of Golden Divine, was surly a success! I had such a great time sipping champagne, nibbling on sweet treats from The Herb Box, and getting a chance to see all the fab new Marciano pieces for this season.
I am so thankful to those of you who could make it to the event, and glad you could partake in the festivities! I know you are too – so don’t even try to deny how babealicious you looked after getting your hair did at the Paul Mitchell Braid Bar! Mmmhmmm!
Oh and of course the now obligatory Vine! Follow me @oneofeachblog
