I think it might be safe to say, that I have switched gears fully over to my Fall wardrobe. I was a busy girl this past weekend, and got all of my sweaters, scarves, and jackets out of storage. Not only that, but It was cool enough outside to get some serious yard work done.
I loped down this enormous dying cactus, and a few other dying soles in the backyard. I think I have that disease where you believe that inanimate objects have feelings. I felt really bad cutting it down, so I tried to save some of it. E.g.my new cactus friend.
In other exciting plant news. I finally got a fiddle leaf fig! Yeah that’s a big accomplishment in my book.

Last night Aaron, Annie, and myself hit the town. Well we went to this rad bar in Phoenix, Crescent Ballroom. It’s pretty much our fave new spot these days. To our surprise it was Karaoke night. All I know is Annie and I killed it, jamming out to some Beatles songs. What’s your go to karaoke song?
In other news, how adorable are these overalls from SWELL? I’m so glad overalls have made a comeback. And they have made a comeback. So don’t even. ;)

That’s right people! I said dong! It could have been worse. I could have said SHLONG! Dong was the closest thing to dress that rhymed with long. I think all of this red bull has gone to my brain.

Blah Blah bloo blee, off to NY tonight. I’m taking the red-eye and I hope I and get some shut-eye. Har har. I never sleep on planes. What about you guys? Any tips? I was thinking about trying that sleeping water I have been seeing around. Knowing me, it will completely knock me out and Annie will have to wheel me off the plan drooling.

This is what I wore in Flagstaff last weekend on my road trip with Annie. I’ll have to post more pics soon! We had a lot of fun. There were ghost sightings, a man thought we where prostitutes, and we stayed in a hostel. It really was a crazy two days!
I can’t imagine what trouble we will get into when we are in New York later this week. I’ll keep you posted!

Hey my party people. The weekend is over and it’s time to having an amazing week. A productive week! Must. be. productive.
Part of that productivity I speak of, is some what of a redesign on One of Each. Don’t be surprised, if you start to notice, within the next few weeks the blog looking slightly different. You know me, always switching things up. I actually don’t think it will be too dramatic. Just a little sprucing up. It’s been over a year now, which I can not believe, so I think its time for an update.
Oh an maybe a Pinterest board to get inspired!

So I almost died this week. For three reasons.
One, being that Jeffrey Campbell wrote up this freaking amazing feature of me on their blog. ME. THEM. SHOCKED. You can check it out HERE!!!!! :D
Two, I decided to take a jog. In Arizona. At noon. When there is no shade. Like an idiot. I had woke up really early so for some reason I thought it was later in the day. Wrong-o! I basically almost died of heat stroke. I think I am being a little overly dramatic, but while I was walking home at a snails pace I honestly keep thinking that I was going to have to flag some random car over to drive me back home. Even when I was like 1 block from my house. Heck even when I could see my house! And to think, when I starting my run I even said to myself… “Pfffttt, I’m awesome! I’m not even sweating!! It’s been 12 minutes and I have so much stamina still. BOO YEAH!” Then I turned around to head home. Well yeah you amazing awesome runner, that same 12 minute run, took you 40 minutes to walk home. I even stood in someones front yard for a second because they had their sprinklers going. I was surviving out there!!!
Three, over this amazing western top from Lulus.com. I love the detail on the collar and how the hue complements my new hair color. What do you guys think? Totally dying right?

How was everybody’s weekend? I got a little cray cray and decided to leave purple shampoo on the bottom of my hair. Ta da! Lavender ombre! I have to bleach my roots soon anyways, so I thought it would be fun for a week or so. What do you think??

It’s so fun to dabble in all the styles of summer. I love the whole 70’s vibe of these shorts, really makes the look. The sweatshirt on the other-hand is Aaron’s. You better believe I steal 40% of his clothes. Anyways he wore it when we went to San Diego the other weekend, and apparently Budweiser isn’t cool there. Not that I’m this huge advocate of Budweiser double fistting bottles around the house belching like Barney from the Simpsons or something. (That’s the second post in 2 days where I have mentioned a Barney from TV btw?!) I don’t even notice what the shirt says, it’s just cute and vintage looking in my mind. But man oh did people like to point it out. One drunk guy even was yelling at Aaron about it walking down the street. I don’t get it. Is there some sort of Budweiser rivalry in San Diego.
Maybe just a lot of “outspoken” drunk kids!
