I had a crazy dream last night. I had decided to go on a rollerblading adventure by myself. Now in real life going rollerblading is something that actually happens. (So stop laughing.) My husband plays hockey so he’s got mad crazy moves. Me on the other hand, can not go over a curb by myself if my life depended on it. I also have to severely concentrate to do a crossover, demonstrated by sticking my tongue out my mouth. I wonder when if I do that in other times of concentration? Oh lord!
Anyways back to whats important. Me. Alone. Rollerblading in the streets of a pleasant suburban neighborhood. Oh no wait, now a scary back alley. (Why do dreams do that to you? I was quite content in the sunny streets of safety, thank you very much.) Suddenly in my dream I realized how dangerous it is to be rollerblading alone, and I kept questioning myself to the reasons why I decided to take this journey. I kept falling on my knee on the gravel in dark ally. I had to grab onto a bike leaned up against a brick wall to catch my balance.
And that’s when it happened.
I met two gay guys and we all became best friends. At least there was a happy ending.
