We The Free Circle In The Sand Tee – Free People // Dolphin Hem Denim Cut Offs – Free People // Alister Crossbody – Free People // Bracelets – Madewell // Evil Eye Necklace – Romwe // Booties – Urban Outfitters
Herrow my peoples! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I’m currently having a splendid one. Mainly because I am very excited for the shopping event I am co-hosting tomorrow night. (I bloggeled about it yesterday, so if you missed it, check it out here!
Secondly – I’m excited that I’m basically decked out, head-to-tow in Free People today. My lover-ly husband gave me the Alister Crossbody bag this past Valentine’s day. He is a sweet, sweet man and knows all weird ways to my heart.
I can’t say much else is new and/or exciting, so until next time. <3
Hello my loves! For those of you lucky enough to live
near me…to live in the wonderful state of Arizona, we finally have a chance to meet face to face.
“Duh-WHAT?”, you ask in astonishment?
I am co-hosting a fab shopping event with fellow fashion blogger Ashley, of Golden Divine, in celebration of dress month with Marciano.
“OMG, where?”, you ask?
At the Marciano Scottsdale Fashion Square store, of course.
“Please tell me when! I can not even bare to be in the dark on this any longer.”, you cry out.
I know – I’m excited too. Thankfully we only have to wait until this Wednesday, May 8th. The event takes place from 6-9pm – that’s 3 hours of par-tay time!
So please come and join me in this shop-tastic, dj bumping boom-bastic, drink sipping…(okay running out of words that end in “astic”) evening. You can also partake in a braid bar courtesy of Paul Mitchell and nibbles from The Herb Box. And wait there’s more! M Loyalty members will receive an exclusive gift with any purchase of $125 or more, plus double points on all dress purchases. Whoop-whoop!
You must RSVP by May 6th at Marciano.com/rsvpaz, if you can attend. I really hope you can make it!
Don’t live in Arizona? You can still get in on the action – and most likely stay cool while doing it. (It’s already geting into the 100’s here! So hot!) Enter in the Marciano ‘Dress a Day in May Sweepstakes’ HERE, for your chance to win an amazing dress. Also I’ll be keeping you updated the night of the event on Instagram, Twitter and Vine – so make sure to follow me @oneofeachblog.
Hope to see you all soon!
Staring at Stars Boho Print Romper – Urban Outfitters // Necklace – Free People, similar one here // Duster – Urban Outfitters // Hat – Hurly // Sun glasses – Free People // Chelsea Boots – Urban Outfitters
The time is right, the stars have aligned and I’m getting back in the saddle. My life often moves me in many directions at once – I’m bound to lose focus. Luckily, the path I am on is leading me back to you – my loves!
Of course not much has changed since we last ‘spoke’. My hair is still ever-changing along with my style, I am still terrible at grammar and spelling, and I’m still a little crazy. So all in all we are back to normal. Like those best friends that can go months without talking and then pick back up right where they left off. That’s us.
Oh also check out this little video I made on Vine … Follow me @oneofeachblog
Beanie – H&M // Shake It Beach Pullover – Free People // Super Flare Cord – Free People // Chelsea Boots – Urban Outfitters
Since being posted up in my office now for weeks working on Shh! Maker Design, I honestly hadn’t notice that the leaves changed colors. Yes Arizona seasons are so weird. Here it is, the beginning of December and today’s high is 82 degrees. (Which is actually really warm – the rest of the week is in the 70’s & 60’s) Although I will most likely not be experiencing this amazing weather we are having because – I gots works to dos! Speaking of which, if there are any designs you would like to see up on the Etsy shop lemme know!
OH PS: These cords are the most soft – best pants ever. Yup!
Lace Tunic Dress – Courtesy of Gina Marie Vintage // Rings -Free People //Suede Wedges // Sam Edleman
I got this dress from Gina Marie Vintage resort line. I’m kinda dying over all the pieces, you can check out the rest of the resort line here! SWOON!
Just in time for 4th of July!!!
What you’ll need:
* American Flag Inspired T-Shirt
* Cloth Marker/Chalk
Mark shirt along the front and back of the collar for more of an “off the shoulder” type look. Make sure to mark the front deeper than the back. Also mark the bottom of the shirt. Crop it shorter if you’d like. I cut right above the stitching.
Cut along marked lines on the neck and the bottom of the shirt. Remember not to cut the front and back of the neck at the same time.
Start about 5-6 inches from the bottom of the shirt, and mark a horizontal line. This is where the fringe will start and your stoping point when you being to cut. Then mark 1 inch vertical strips along the bottom on the shirt. This will be the fringe.
Cut along vertical marked lines until you hit your stoping point. For this I cut through both sides of the shirt at once.
Once strips have been cut, pinch the top and bottom of a single strip and pull. This should stretch the strip and cause the sides to curl in. Repeat!
Put on and go find a bbq.
A few images from this past weekend in San Diego. Aaron and I packed up the car and drove west last weekend to spend some time in the sand and sun.
**reminder: never bring dogs anywhere. ever. again.
Moving on to round 3 of the Jane By Design Style Challenge, I was asked to choose a purse from my closest that best represents the very essence of who I am. I went with this versatile Marc Jacobs bag, I purchased last fall. It can transform from a casual “bucket bag” to a professional “tote” with a mere loosening of the drawstring closure. Besides all that, it’s HUGE. Perfect for packing around all my essentials.
I believe this metamorphosing handbag mirrors me and my versatility like no other. My mood and style are ever changing along with what I do each day. I can go from being a treading blogger sipping on lattes at the coffee house, to the professional Art Director at the office. It’s the perfect handbag to represent me and my lifestyle.
Do you have a handbag that embodies you? I’d love to see your purses and as always so would Jane By Design. Post a picture of your purse on the Jane By Design Facebook page here. (Make sure to tell them One of Each sent you) Doing that will actually help me out in the competition immensely, and it will also give YOU a chance to be featured on the ABC Family’s – Jane by Design website as a trendsetter! That’s right people, if One of Each wins, one of my deserving readers wins too! I hope you can help! <3
As an early Christmas to himself, Aaron finally bought a fancy new Martin guitar. This in turn is also a Christmas present for me, because now he must learn all the songs I want to sing! He has no excuses now. Muuahahaha! (<--evil laugh) Basically that means he learned a LOT of Christmas songs over the past few weeks.
Anyways we were just goofing around this weekend and decided to record a little jingle - nothing fancy. When I started my blog, I made it for myself. To express myself in any form that I felt like. Art, fashion, decorating, and if I so choose singing. I know we are not the most talented musicians in the world, but I like to sing, and no one can stop me!
Plus the song is quite fitting for Arizona winters. So I hope everyone's holiday, if not filled with white snow, is filled with much love.
Merry Christmas from Aaron & Amanda

It feels good to complete the first style challenge for Jane by Design. Hopefully my shopping finds are impressive enough to move on to the next round. Also I mentioned that if you have a haul video to share, you can post them on the Jane by Design Facebook page HERE. If you do, it will actually boost my chances of continuing to the next challenge. I hope you guys can help. Just tell mention that Amanda from One of Each Blog sent you. Thanks so much! <3
